Problems after Normal Delivery

The delivery may be normal but it also requires stitches. These stitches are painful and such that it is difficult to walk or sit for several days. They also take at least seven to ten days to recover. After that these stitches heal on their own.
If you want the stitches to heal quickly, then take special care of their cleanliness. If you feel pain, swelling or pus in them even after several days, then they may be infected. In that case you see a doctor. It may take longer for your stitches to heal in case of infection.
It is also normal to have vaginal bleeding or other discharge after a normal delivery. This bleeding is the extra blood of our body which was used for the development of the baby in the womb. This bleeding may be heavy for the first ten days. But after that it decreases. Low bleeding or spotting can last up to 6 weeks after delivery.
3. Abdominal pain
Your stomach is returning to its normal position after delivery, due to which you may feel pain in the lower abdomen. Although the pain was not much. You can feel this pain even while feeding your baby. You may feel this pain for 15 or 20 days after the onset.
4. Hormonal changes
Hormonal changes also occur after delivery. These can make you sweat profusely or lose hair (especially while sleeping). These hormonal changes can also bother you for a long time. But if you have fever along with these problems then it could be an infection.

How Much Rest is Needed After Delivery
1. Minimum time
Even if you have a normal delivery, you should rest for at least four weeks. However, this also does not mean that you just rest all day and do not get down from your bed.
The first week after delivery was spent in bed. After that in the second week, you start doing a little work for your baby. Start doing small household chores in the third week. In the fourth week if you do not have any problem then you can go outside the house also.
2. 40 to 45 days
When you come home with your baby after nine months of waiting, your excitement is on the second stage. It takes less time for a woman to get fit after a normal delivery than after a C-section delivery. But most people believe that a woman should take good rest for 40 to 45 days.
Although every woman’s body is different, it may take you less or more than 40 to 45 days to recover even after a normal delivery. In times to come, your full attention and energy is going to be spent only on the child as well.

3. Max time
