Religion Qualification in Army:
Applicant should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha): Hindu candidate with a one-year diploma in Karam Kand, Shastri in Sanskrit or Acharya in Sanskrit.
- Granthi: In Sikh Punjabi with Gyani.
Maulvi and Maulvi (Shia): Muslim candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adeeb Alim in Urdu. - Padre: Any person who has been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
- Bodh Monk (Mahayana): Any person who has been ordained Monk / Buddhist Priest, by the Appropriate Authority.
The above compulsory education qualification must be obtained by individuals from recognized universities. All the above eligibility criteria are general for in-service and civil candidates.
Nationality: Indian
Age Limit: (As on 01.10.2021) 25 years for Civil candidates & 34 years for In-service candidates
Job Location: To be appointed in All India.
Exam Pattern:
The written examination will consist of objective type questions and will consist of two papers covering general awareness and religious denominations.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test and physical test.
